Overview

The QIM Center organizes training sessions and workshops to help researchers develop skills in quantitative image analysis. Our programs cover both fundamental concepts and advanced techniques for working with 3D imaging data.

Training Topics

  • Introduction to 3D imaging — Overview of imaging modalities, data formats, and basic analysis concepts.
  • Image processing fundamentals — Filtering, segmentation, morphological operations, and feature extraction.
  • Quantitative analysis — Methods for measuring and characterizing structures in 3D datasets.
  • Software tools — Hands-on training with QIM-developed tools and open-source imaging software.
  • Best practices — Reproducible workflows, data management, and FAIR principles.

Workshop Format

Our workshops combine presentations with practical exercises using real datasets. Participants work through analysis challenges with guidance from QIM researchers and gain hands-on experience with the tools and methods discussed.
