Qim Platform

High performance computing environment for processing and analysing large 3D imaging datasets.

The QIM Platform is a web-based computational environment designed to make quantitative analysis of large-scale 3D imaging data easier, faster, and more accessible.

Developed by the QIM Center and hosted at the DTU Computing Center, it provides researchers with direct access to analysis tools, data resources, documentation, and high-performance computing through a single interface.

What the platform provides

Data access

The platform offers integrated access to data through a web-based file system interface called Filestash which allows direct access to the file system at the DTU HPC (Gbar).

Using Filestash, users can:

  • Browse project and personal storage
  • Visualize large volumetric data
  • Upload and download datasets under 2 GB

Computational tools

The Qim platform allows users to easily start tools directly to the HPC cluster at DTU, using our launchers.

For example, the Jupyter Launcher can be used for Jupyter servers:

The Jupyter launcher interface on the QIM Platform allows launching a notebook server on the HPC cluster.

Ongoigng develoment

The platform is under active development, with continuous additions of new tools, interfaces, and computational capabilities.

Its goal is to provide a growing ecosystem for quantitative imaging that lowers technical barriers and enables researchers to focus on scientific discovery rather than infrastructure.
